Jagan promises justice to Titli-hit farmers
Titli cyclone victims and farmers of Sanyasineelapuram, Rampuram and Gudem villages complained to YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy that the government is yet to pay compensation for crop loss and houses.
As part of his ongoing Praja Sankalpa yatra, Jagan covered several villages in both Tekkali and Pathapatnam Assembly segments on Sunday. Responding to Titli victims, Jagan assured to do justice to the farmers soon.
Tribes of Chinthamani and Savara Gopalapuram villages also poured out their woes before Jagan as they are being harassed by minister K Atchannaidu and his followers where granite companies forcibly took over their lands and made them as jobless.
APSRTC employees requested Jagan to merge the corporation into government for providing better services. Employees of Nandigama mandal also met Jagan appealing him to scrap the contributory pension scheme. Private and registered medical practitioners in rural and agency areas also met Jagan and sought recognition for their services.
Pharma city victims of Mutyalammapalem in Paravada mandal of Visakhapatnam also met Jagan in Srikakulam and sought his support for their agitation. Cine star Bhanu Chandar, party senior leaders Dharmana Prasada Rao, Dharmana Krishna Das and others accompanied Jagan during his yatra.
